TrueImage 2014 cannot be used for file-level operations with the EXT3 file systems (file backup, recovery, search, image mounting and file recovering from images) nor for storing backups on EXT3 disks or partitions. But I am wondering if there is any reason why I can't simply use Acronis TrueImage 2014 to clone the disk to the new drive. I have also read elsewhere of a procedure for cloning the drive using PartedMagic ISO image file, and this does seem to be a straighforward way to transfer all the Humax's settings and all the recordings. I have read the Wiki entry on this topic, but am a little uncertain about dealing with the block/sector alignment issue. ![]() The disk drive activity light is lit solid so something is happening. Acronis True Image 2014 includes Acronis DriveCleanser that permanently destroys files and wipes personal information from partitions and/or entire disks, as well as the System Clean-up tool that cleans up. Simply deleting old data will not remove it permanently from your computer. The 'Clock' comes up as it analyzes the drives. Acronis True Image 2014 helps you protect your identity as well. The dialog box for Source disk comes up, I click on my C: drive as the source. On upgrade to version 2014 (purchased last night), I am unable to use. I am about to upgrade the HDD of my HDR Fox-T2 to 2TB. I have been utilizing Clone disk with ATIH for a long time. ![]()
